Human needs seem endless. (78) When a hungry man gets a meal, he begins to think about an overcoat, when a manager gets a new sports car, a big house and pleasure boats dance into view.
The many needs of mankind might be regarded as making up several levels. When there is money enough to satisfy one level of needs, another level appears.

Consumers may be spending more on taxes to pay for government action against disease, ignorance, crime, and prejudice. After filling our stomachs, our clothes closets, our garages, our teeth, and our minds, we now may seek to ensure the health, safety, and leisure to enjoy more fully the good things on the first four levels.

对不起，这次的英语考试我没有考好，成绩只有63分，刚刚在及格的悬崖边上，还是全班倒数第三名。为此我感到十分的痛苦与煎熬，因为我并不是不想学好，而是实在感到力不从心，无力挣脱困惑的牢笼，取得知识的硕果。
回顾我进入初中以来学习英语的这段过程，自身的学习态度与用功程度是不够的。上课存在开小差、思想不集中的问题，这些学习态度的问题，我想这些问题肯定是直接或是间接得影响了我的英语学习。经过您的批评教育，让我着实提高了思想警觉。不过通过深刻反省，我还是注意到了自身英语学习成绩不好的主要原因还是在于我没有足够的学习兴趣。学习兴趣这个问题也是您反复强调的，也是最难以克服的。尽管如此，我依然坚信我的英语成绩不佳，主要原因还是在于我的学习态度有问题，学习还不够刻苦，用功程度是不足够的。
现如今英语成绩如此不好，我也陷入深深的自责当中。如果是学习兴趣并不是一朝一夕能够养成的，可是我也必须尽己所能得端正好学习态度。就说平时在英语学习当中，我单词、语法也背的不够，导致在考试当中不能够灵活运用，导致分数不能上去。倘若我能够及时醒悟过来，逐渐得懂得扎实基础知识的重要性，也就能够提高学习成绩了。
亲爱的英语老师，请您相信我。通过这次检讨，我已经有了觉醒与感悟。在今后的英语学习当中，我会更加懂得如何学好英语，我也会尽可能得多抽出时间来培养英语学习兴趣，通过与学习好的同学搞好关系，向她们求教英语学习的窍门，争取在今后的一段时间里切实得提高自身的英语水平。总之，我一定会学好英语的。

您好！
英语作为和语文、数学同样重要的科目需要每个学生不断的付出努力才能够掌握我们需要学习的知识。而我却在上课这么重要的时间点做出了这种违反班级纪律的事情，在上课的时候我需要做的是好好的听老师讲课，跟随着老师的节奏学习英语知识，我却没有这个觉悟，反而上课看着于英语无关的课外书籍。我想我的这种行为是非常恶劣的，这样的行为是会让我自己的学习成绩飞快下降，并且落后同学们很多的。而当时的我却没有意识到这个问题，反而因为自己上课的时候能看课外书而感到沾沾自喜，觉得老师您不会发现，现在我才明白当时我的想法多么的愚昧。
在事情发生之后我也是反思了这次的事情，也是找到了自己的问题所在。如果我能够抵抗住课外书籍的诱惑，坚守自己作为一名学生的底线的话，那么这一切或许也就都不会发生了。可是我并没有做到这些，反而还因为自己的这种偷懒行为而感到快乐，觉得自己真厉害，居然连老师都发现不了我的事。但全然不知老师一直纵容我是希望我能够见好就收，能够及时的意识到自己的错误，不要让老师来操心我的事情。然而我却越发的放肆，觉得自己的隐蔽手段天衣无缝，导致我最后一错再错下去。现在的我已经深深的明白了自己的哪些错误，但是之前发生的事情也不能够重来了，我只能够让自己在以后的学习生活中慢慢的回报老师，弥补自己这次犯下的严重错误。
作为一名小学生最基本的就是遵守学校的规章制度，听老师和父母的话，不做这些和学习无关的事情。而看课外书是会严重的影响我的学习，就算是我看了一半不看了，接着上课脑袋里也会闪过书籍的内容，想着下一部分的内容是什么样，最后就会导致一节课又是白上的。我想如果我的爸爸妈妈知道我做出这样的事情肯定也会感到十分的失望难过的，他们对我赋予了这么高的期望，我想要什么只要他们能够给我的也都是尽量给我，而我却做出了这么辜负他们好意的事情。在学校里非但没有好好的学习，还拿着他们给的钱买那些课外的书籍，在上课的时候读，影响自己的学习，会对班上的其他同学造成一定程度上的影响。
