that was the first time for me to be in such a large event. of course the pressure i was under was immense too. after a sleepless and stressful night, i went onto that stage without the feeling in my legs.
that speech turned out to be horrible. i don’t remember how i get down from there, but i do remember afterwards i just wanted to find a hole to hide in just like the ant in the story. back at my school, it took a long time for me to recover.
thanks to all the help i got from my special friends. my confidence was restored. after rounds of giving speeches and answering tough questions, i am here today.

一、注意校内安全:
1、要注意课间文明游戏，不大声喧哗，不追逐打闹。
2、上下楼梯不奔跑，不嬉戏，做到轻声慢步靠右行，坚决不允许有三人并行现象。
3、不在楼梯口玩耍，不在学校楼道的走廊、平台、转台等位置玩耍、游戏、打闹。
4、上体育课前要作好准备活动，运动时要遵照老师的要求，不剧烈碰撞，不违规运动，防止运动器材伤人;
5、不乱动教室内及校园内的电源插座，不要用潮湿的抹布擦电器开关，机器，

1、不在马路上踢球;
2、不在马路中间行走，走人行道，绝不能为贪一时之快横穿马路。;

4、当我们穿马路时，多一份谦让与耐心，不闯红灯，要做到红灯停、绿灯行;

6、乘车时不向窗外招手、探头、车上拥挤时注意锐利物品、车停稳后再下车，更不得在车上打闹。

今天我讲的一个观点是，因为大家都是来自于比较贫困的家庭，很多父母亲都给予了很大的期望，在这里想跟大家分享的是:在学校里面大家有老师照顾，有所谓的专家，所谓的讲师说规划该怎么做，但是在这里要告诉大家的是那些所谓的职业规划，规划十年二十年都是没有意义的，那只是为了骗钱，所以大家一定要追随自己的选择，不要去让别人规划你的道路。别人不会比你更了解自己，别人不可能会比你规划的更适合自己。甚至父母亲，他们绝对是无条件的爱你，但是他们很可能会用经过时了的眼光看待自己，来帮你们引导，不一定是合适的。老师一定也是会引导的，但是老师也可能是过时的。他认为你应该去工作，你应该去考研。这些都已经不对了，毕竟我们的国家在改变和发展。那么下面的时间我就用我自己的例子来分享一下我们的人生应该怎么走。
其实我想我的第一个大的人生的选择是上大学，在美国的哥伦比亚大学修的是法律系，那个时候在美国最被认可的两个职业是律师和医生，父母认为，在社会里这两个职业挣钱虽说不是最多，但是挣钱比较多。社会也认定律师是一个比较赚钱的职业，医生也是一个不错的选择。所以当我对我来说就跟你们进大学的时候对自己的专业是一样的，并没有太多的想过我该怎么做。但是读了一年以后，我发现那些法律政治的东西真的好枯燥，也在课堂上睡觉，将来做律师，就是在法治社会帮助人去运用法律，即便是一个杀人犯，他有罪，作为律师也要在法庭上为他做辩护，其实只有这样社会才能得到公平的发挥。但是我就觉得做律师好累。而且会觉得良心上的不平衡。所以当时也是“不务正业”，在学校学了好多的艺术、音乐、体育之类的课，后来当我接触到计算机的时候，我就感觉到这样的一个东西，不仅仅一个编程问题，这样的一台机器以及硬件和软件，在未来不久的时间里他是有可能他来模拟人的功能，有可能来帮助人扩建他们的思想，它有可能成为很好的工具。当时我就做了人生的第一个选择，如果说我要坚持当一个律师，那么不成功的话只能做一个差律师，及时做的还可以称得上是一个一般的律师，我也会觉得不快乐。所以我就选择了做自己喜欢的事情，义无反顾的去选择，我想去改变这个世界，去挖掘去发现我存在的价值。
后来我进入了苹果公司，因为在计算机方面的技术我当时刚进去的时候还是一个程序员，一个设计开发者，直到有一天苹果的一个上司告诉我说，开复啊，我想让你当管理者，他说，你在公司里人缘其他方面都挺好，可以尝试一下做一个管理者。我当时就是一个设计员，也从来没想过要进入管理层，而且我在管理方面的知识并不是很了解，其实那天他并不是要求我给他答复，可以思考一下。但是我就几乎没什么犹豫地说好的。这是我人生的第二个选择。一个好的管理者不仅仅需要高智商还要求有高情商，我之所以选择了进入管理层是因为我觉得，个人的贡献还是很小的，当然当你成功带领了一个团队之后再做出贡献的时候就会是一个比较大的贡献。
80年代的中国可以说还处在留学热的风潮中，可以看看大陆的高校里，一般大家都是争着抢着要出国，这跟历史上不一样，历史上那么被派往国外的学童都是穷人家的孩子，富人家的子弟还是留在家里的，但是那个时候不一样，一般好的人才都是要争着出国啊法国啊美国啊。特别是美国。后来就是想着绿卡啊什么的，就是很少有人想着要回国，也觉得回国是个傻事情。但是后来我就觉得，中国将来是会强大的，会有发展的。所以我就决定回国了。当我把这些消息透露给周围的人时，当然大多数都是出来的留学生，他们都觉得不可思议，甚至在苹果我想挖回来发展的几个朋友都觉得我好傻，放弃这里那么好的机会回国。但是我就是觉得中国一定会发展的更好，我就毅然回国了。这是我人生的第三个比较重要的选择。 当我回到中国之后，进入了微软。当时也和大陆的青年们有所交流，但是对我触动很大的事一个清华的学生，他对我说，我将来就是要当你这样的人。我顿时很好奇的看着他。我是一个什么样的人呢？他就告诉我说，就是坐在那里就会有大把大把的钱到手的人。我说。哇，
太不可思议，怎么说也他也是受过高等教育的人，他为什么会有这种思想，我就觉得中国的青年学生为什么会有这种想法，我很不解。后来我就写了一封信，但是写信的时候也没想到会有多大的影响，而且我在准备发表之前还将信讲给了公司的董事会，他们讨论一下要不要将这封信发表出去，他们觉得如果发表出去造成影响会对会对公司的形象造成影响。他们后来告诉我说，还是不要发表了，哪怕是你演讲出来也好，发表还是就算了吧。因为他们看过信之后觉得我说的60%都是按照美国的思想，而我要告诉的对象是中国学生，不太合适。后来我回到家里，总觉得心里不舒服，因为信我都已经写出来了。总觉得应该发表，所以还是最后总决定把信发表出来。大家可以再《光明日报》上看到当时我发表的那封信——《给中国青年学生的一封信》，当然你会看到我在文章开头加了一句话：本文只是个人的想法，与公司的业务等无关。没想到后来反应还挺强烈，但也幸好，并没有出现危害公司的事情。再到后来，我就对中国青年学生有了更多的接触，也写了之后的第二封信、第三封信等。再后来有人说写几本书吧，我也就写了几本，前些年也做了些演讲，再到现在的微博的交流，都一直没有间断与大家的交流。但是我最想告诉大家的是：其实人生在世啊，不只是为了财富，还有你的兴趣，你的爱好，和你的发展。
（本段录音丢失不详细描述）再后来，中国确实发展的很快，我进行了又一次选择，我选择了退出微软，建立了现在的创新工厂，为那些年轻人提供创新的指导。
其实我的这些经历可以用乔布斯的话来总结。他说，人生的路就是一个个的点连起来画出的一条优美的曲线。我总结这句话就是有两个条件，一个是点，每个点都可以看做是你追随你自己的心做出选择的时候点出来的。第二，这条线是不可能事前画出来的，是不能规划的。因此看，那些有特别明确的规划的都是不可能的，因为在你选择的时候你是不知道会要发生什么，就像乔布斯，大家都不会想到乔布斯当年大学的时候选修了一门课——书法。也就是对历史上的书法有所学习。到了后来他在苹果，就觉得当时的那些字体不好看，就想到如果用户可以自己设定自己自想要的写法该多好，就进行开发研究了有关书法的程序，并获得了成功。这就是他的点。谁也没想到后来他会将书法运用进来，这就是说是不可预知的。因此，如果感觉自己应该跟着自己的心走一条新的路就勇敢的走下去，走出这条新（心）路。当然我说的追随自己的心是在重要的事情上面，不是说每天都追最自己心，你今天追个朋友，明天吃顿大餐，后天睡懒觉天天都追随自己的心，那就太糟糕了。所以大学里还是要踏踏实实学好每门课。我这三十年来也就是做了我自己比较重要的五六次选择，平均下来也就是五六年一次，当你40岁，50岁哪怕60岁的时候再回顾的时候，再把各个看似不相关的点连起来，就会感受到，我追随了自己的心。
一个人，你是不是能成功，你是不是能得到人认可，你是不是能够适应这个时代。跟你这个人是很有关系的。我们正处在一个前所未有的时代，中国的改革开放，中国的市场发展，我们才刚刚开始，如果说中国的150年复兴是个大幕的话，这个大幕在刚刚开始拉开，刚刚卷起，我们未来的能力就是计算机方面的知识会是美国的不知多少倍。没有哪一代像我们这一代获得知识如此的便宜。没有比今天更加好，因此相信这个时代，相信时势的力量。你看当年马云和4位同学竞选卡巴斯基的实习资格，5个人，只有他没选上，但是他还是在后来一手缔造的阿里巴巴，还有新东方的俞敏洪，在他的办公室里总是挂着家里草房子的照片。所以是时代造就了一批成功的人。这是我先和大家分享的一个事情。第二点呢，就是人生的经历或许使你迷茫徘徊，有可能是因为专业带来的，由于社会不公带来的，或者由于各种原因带来的，我在美国读书的时候就发现那些美国人长得高高大大人又帅，家里又有钱，更重要的是人家学习还刻苦，当时我也是就觉得这没法跟人家比呀，人家每方面都是那样的好。现
